Intelligent Building Management
Intelligent Building Management is installed in a building to control and monitor the building’s mechanical and electrical equipment. Systems linked to Intelligent Building Management typically represent 40% of a building’s energy usage although this may escalate to 70% if lighting is included and as a result thereof BMS’s are a critical component to manage energy demand. Our recent project confirms this as the result of introducing this energy efficient technology culminated in a record saving for the client in excess of R1,2 million over a twelve month period, reduced the carbon production from 1,4 million kg’s to 542,000 kg’s per annum and allowed for a R300k rebate, confirmed by Eskom.
