Recruitment

The first step in the Skills Development process is recruitment. Bytes People Solutions provides this service to ensure that candidates applying for a specific learnerhsip meet the minimum criteria for that learnership.

Please find below the criteria we use to select candidates for our learnership programmes:

Applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens, (all races can apply)
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 35
  • Be unemployed
  • Be presentable and have good English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have no criminal record
  • Be locally based
  • Not be studying full time

PEOPLE LIVING WITH DISABILITIES:

  • Be living with a disability
  • Provide a medical certificate from a relevant medical practitioner

Bytes People Solutions recruits its applicants through:

  • Advertisements
  • Databases
  • By word-of-mouth

Recruitment can be done in conjunction with the customer to ensure that candidates also fit the culture of a specific organisation in which they will be deployed.

As part of the recruitment process eligible applicants are invited for an interview as well as skills, psychometric and attitude assessments. If a company wants to run an internal learnership or qualification, Bytes People Solutions can also assist with the evaluation of these candidates as a value-added service. This will ensure that the right employees are selected for a specific qualification.
